If you will go back 20 years definitly used the keypad phones . Perhaps sum of you have been used also. Before today you have to do the recharge plans of 250 to 300 for a one month. You you use to get SMS call and data facility inbuilt in this data plans even you don’t need the internet still you got data plans together the recharge and the whole money of your data plan was wasting. Keypad phones are used by lot of the people even in this era . Lot of people have the Wi-Fi facility in their home after that they still recharge their phone by the monthly half yearly early data plan and they don’t use these data plans as much efficiently as possible because they don’t need these extra data plans but due to the inbuilt policy of the mobile sim card companies they have to recharge their phones by this data plan. But this problem is going to solve now by the government. These recharge are very high in rates for those who don’t use internet by their mobile phone.
Government have received new plan for the recharge
Government have received some guidelines and rules for the companies for the mobile recharge plans. Which is updated yesterday.
TRAI new rules mandetes the telecom companies to issue recharge voucher for only SMS and calls
Before the advent of digital smartphone people used to use keypad phones then they have the facility to use or to recharge SMS and voice calls recharge facility but after the advent of smartphone most of the telecom companies assumes data plans with SMS and voice call facility. But lot of people still using keypad phones and due to the data plan recharge schemes they have to recharge their phone’s with these data plan recharge and rest of the data used to waste and money to. It seems like the government have taken initiative to tackle this problem.TRAI has issued new rules and regulations for all the Indian telecom companies to make the recharge plans without data plans only for SMS and voice calls so that people can recharge their mobile phone even when they don’t need data plan or internet facility. Recording to the new rule special recharge coupon maximum time limit has been increased 90 days 365 days. Telecom consumer protection 12th amendment regulation 2024 has received this. According to this telecom companies has to issue STV special tariff voucher which validity will be not more than 365 days. This regulation will be start after that 30 day of the date of issuing the notice.TRAI have been given the order to issue at any price. In India about 150 million people still use 2G mobile phones that is keypad phones.
