The lips of Sydney Sweeney are shut. The 26-year-old actress briefly discussed the third season of Euphoria with MTV's Josh Horowitz at The 92nd Street Y in New York City earlier this week, but she couldn't say much.
"Honestly, it’s, like, as scary as talking about Marvel," Sweeney quipped. "I said one thing, and it went everywhere."
When Horowitz told Sweeney, who plays Cassie Howard in the HBO series, that fans are "excited" for the new season, she said, "I’m excited too."
I adore Cassie. As an actor, Cassie is a dream to play, and I'm lucky to have had her so young "said. Of course, I want to continue her crazy existence. I love it.
Euphoria was renewed for a third season in February 2022, however new episodes won't air until 2025.
Sweeney told Horowitz at SXSW earlier in March that she will soon return to set to shoot Euphoria after working on Anyone But You, Madame Webb, Saturday Night Live, and Immaculate, her new horror film.
“I always feel like I go home,” she added of returning to the show with Zendaya, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schafer, and Maude Apatow. It feels like home when I return. Like it.”
Sweeney said, “Maybe,” when asked if she's seen a screenplay for the latest season. No idea."
