After illness, Randy Travis honoured his famous career: 'What country music is all about.' 

Randy Travis, country music legend, to be honoured at "A Heroes and Friends Tribute" concert. 

– Travis, diagnosed with aphasia in 2013, left with limited speech after a stroke.

Mary Travis, his wife, speaks for him, expressing gratitude for the tribute. 

The concert will feature other country stars performing Travis's hits. 

Mary calls Travis's songs "the hymn of country music," touching lives deeply. 

The tribute concert aims to celebrate Travis's impactful career. 

Scheduled for October 24th in Huntsville, Alabama, at Von Braun Center's Propst Arena. 

Proceeds will support stroke and aphasia awareness through the Randy Travis Foundation.
